Work

I work in the crime team at a busy solicitors’ firm in Peterborough. I am a Chartered Legal Executive Advocate (or CILEx Advocate for short). I represent clients in court, at the police station, and in prisons before the Parole Board or Independent Adjudicator.

After studying law at university I undertook the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives graduate fast-track diploma in criminal litigation and civil litigation. I became a Chartered Legal Executive Advocate in 2019, which gave me rights of audience before the court on top of my other roles at the police station and before the Parole Board.
